Our family of 6 adults and 2 small children just returned from 5 nights at Gaia’s Pearl, and it was nothing short of amazing! From start to finish we were pleased with the home and their service. Upon arrival, the property managers guided us to the home and gave us a complete tour. Every room in the home is equipped with a king bed and private bath, as well as beautiful views out over the water. Bonus- they had a pack ‘n play for my 1 year old as well as a car seat if we had needed it (we brought our own).
The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, ranging from everyday utensils to a Vitamix for smoothies or poolside cocktails. There is an outdoor closet full of everything you would want for the pool or beach - chairs, coolers, children’s life jackets, snorkel equipment, and more. They also have a Bluetooth music system and speakers built in to play in the main areas, over the pool deck and even in the grilling area.
During our stay we spent several nights grilling a home cooked meal and playing our favorite board games with the breeze flowing between the sliding doors on either side of the living area. The highlight was definitely the infinity pool and view - beyond the amazing sunsets, we also saw a couple of beautiful rainbows.
As for location, the home is only a couple of minutes to the grocery store, and maybe 5 to Cruz Bay for dining and shopping. While in St. John, we did a full day boat charter, visited several beaches, ate at some of our favorite restaurants, and enjoyed our time at Gaia’s Pearl - they make it hard to leave!
Gaia’s Pearl will always hold a special place in our hearts with the memories we made, and we know that when we visit St. John again, this will be the home we choose to stay in once again!
